Panasonic just confirmed that it will be enabling Bluetooth support on the Panasonic KX-UT670 IP phone.

The firmware is scheduled to be released May 2012.

Panasonic’s website says that the phone is Bluetooth enabled but as posted before(Link) it currently is not.

——Update 01/27/2012——-
A third party Bluetooth USB dongle will be required to enable Bluetooth support.

Do you know if the new firmware has been released to deal with the Bluetooth issue?

      This was never added.

I know Panasonic is having a hard time selling their SIP Phones in the US.
They do work well but I find the price point to be too high.

Wow, thank for such a prompt response. Do you know if I buy a bluetooth with the USB if it will work? Unfortunately, for me I did not read or find your post before I bought the phone I wish I would have. Thanks for all the info.

Anyone ever have any luck getting BT to work with this phone? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I was sucked in by the marketing materials as well that still show it as a BT enabled phone.

      Thanks in advance!
